Apple Q2 Earnings Show Decline in iPhone Revenue on Tuesday April 30, 2019

EARNINGS PER SHARE, DIVIDENDS, OVERALL REVENUE ALL UP


FBN’s Susan Li reports on Apple’s second-quarter earnings.

Earnings Per Share (EPS) was $2.46 over the $2.36 estimate.

Revenue was $58.01 billion over the $57.37 billion estimate.

Apple iPhone revenue was $31.05 billion under the $31.12 billion estimate.

Apple had a very strong month in March, and reported an increase in dividends of 5 percent, which was the seventh increase in dividends in less than 7 years.

Apple is looking to buy back more than $75 billion in stock.

Apple iPhone sales were down due to sales drop in China. Apple iPhone revenue overall decreased 17 percent.
