CBS Chicago: ‘Alternatives To Prosecution’ Different For Jussie Smollett

Terrae Washington said he had to complete 50 hours of community service while working two jobs to get charges dropped against him while Jussie Smollett only had to do 18.

Experienced with “Alternatives to Prosecution” after a charge of marijuana possession, Terrae Washington said he couldn’t believe that Jussie Smollett only had to serve 18 hours of community service. Terrae Washington had serve 50 hours of community service.

CBS Chicago’s Megan Hickey reported that while the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office claimed that 5,700 other low level felonies involved “Alternatives to Prosecution” the State’s Attorney Office only provided CBS Chicago with two individuals — one of them was Terrae Washington.
