AOC Effect: Professor Explains ‘the Ocasio-Cortez Effect’ on Campuses, and How People Who Know Least Are the Most Self-Confident

Suffolk Community College professor Nicholas Giordano joins ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ to shed light on ‘the Ocasio-Cortez effect’ happening on college campuses across America.

Suffolk Community College Nicholas Giordano responds to Tucker Carlon’s question about the effect of the “panacea” that says that giving kids self-esteem will solve everything. Professor Nicholas Giordano says that the mentality created two things that generated an entitlement culture.

The motto of “The customer is always right” created an entitlement culture.

Also, the motto of “All children are precious” (where everyone gets the trophy) created an entitlement culture.

The professor says that when you try to challenge the minds of the youth, they push back because they don’t want to critically analyze the information to see if it really works.

Professor Nicholas Giordano is a Professor of Political Science at Suffolk County Community College in New York. Professor Giordano currently serves as the Political Science Assessment Chair and teaches courses on American Government and World Politics/International Relations.

Prior to becoming a full-time professor, Prof. Giordano was the Regional Coordinator/Catastrophic Planning Lead for the New York State Office of Emergency Management (NYS OEM) within the Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services. He coordinated response activities with local emergency management officials and served as a liaison between New York State, local governments and federal departments/agencies. He was a primary liaison for State response operations in New York City during Hurricane Sandy. Throughout the activation, Mr. Giordano was responsible for assessing needs, directing State assets and coordinating with Federal and New York City agencies, as well as providing briefings to executive leadership within NYS DHSES/OEM, FEMA, NYC OEM and the Mayor’s Office.
