Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:46 PM Tuesday January 8, 2019 of an attempted vehicle burglary at Stone Fireplaces, 521 West Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders attempted to force entry into the victim’s 2016 white Ford Econoline van. No items were reported missing, but offenders damaged the van’s lock, resulting in an estimated repair cost of $3,000.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 6:00 PM and Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 3:45 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 165:45 (hours: minutes) or almost 7 days.
