Cook County Sheriff’s police and North Maine firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:41 AM Sunday July 22, 2018 to a report of a person shot at an address on Holly Lane near Holly Lane and Oak Place, Des Plaines, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a man was waiting outside the apartment building after suffering a gunshot wound.
The location of the offender was initially unknown, and the scene was described as a volatile situation.
North Maine firefighter/paramedics transported the gunshot victim to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
A second ambulance was requested to the scene for a second person with medical symptoms. Glenview Ambulance 7 was assigned.
