Garbage Truck Hits Power Line at Arlington Heights Rd and Palatine Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:51 AM Tuesday to A report that a garbage truck hit a power line at Hillside Towing, 200 East Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics reported that a garbage truck at the Arlington Heights Road exit to Hillside hit a power line. There was no arcing or sparking.

ComEd responded to the scene, cut off the power and removed the power line.

Northbound Arlington Heights Road was backed up about half way to Thomas Street. The incident was all clear by noon.
