Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:11 PM Wednesday July 11, 2018 to a report of a 3 year-old child found facedown in the outdoor pool at Lifetime Fitness, 900 East Higgins Road Schaumburg, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics were updated that the child was rescued by a lifeguard, who performed CPR for a short time. The 3 year-old was conscious and breathing by the time firefighter/paramedics arrived near the south gate of the outdoor swimming pool.
The 3 year-old was transported to a local hospital as a precaution for observation.
