Addison Police Investigating Shooting with Body Found in Glendale Heights on Lippert Lane Near Asbury Drive

Addison police responded about 4:15 p.m. to Green Oaks Court North Near Mill Road and Lake Street in Addison to a report of shots fired. Addison police arrived and found no shooting victim, but discovered evidence that a shooting occurred.

Almost two hours later Glendale Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded to a report of a shooting victim down on a driveway on Lippert Lane near Asbury Drive in Glendale Heights. Police discovered the body of a shooting victim at the Glendale Heights location, which is about a 5-mile drive from the Addison shooting scene.

The shooting victim was identified as Miguel Reynoso, age 20, of Carol Stream.

Addison police and Glendale Heights police are now investigating the shooting in Addison and the shooting death scene in Glendale Heights, and are also searching for connections between the two incidents. Initial circumstances indicate the victim found in Glendale Heights was shot in Addison.

A witness reported the shooting was a drive-by shooting, but no other information has been released by police.
