The Vail Avenue railroad crossing, located just south of the intersection of Vail Avenue and Northwest Highway, will be closed for scheduled Union Pacific maintenance work. The anticipated closure dates are Monday, April 9th at 9 AM through Thursday, April 19th at 3 PM.
The Vail Avenue crossing is the furthest west railraod crossing in downtown Arlington Heights, and is just west of the Metra train station in downtown Arlington Heights.
