US Weather: Major Snowstorm N. Rockies, Hot Weather Return to East US, Wind & Rip Ties Atlantic Coast

A major snowstorm is forecast for Great Falls, Yellowstone, and the northern and central Rockies, and southern Canada Sunday night and Monday, October 1-2, 2017.

Warm weather will return to Chicagoland and the eastern United States this week, while persistent wind and rip tides will affect the Atlantic coasts of South Carolina, Georgia, and northern Florida, with heavy rain also forecast from Jacksonville to Gainesville.
