The moving Vietnam Wall known as “The Wall That Heals” will be traveling to Des Plaines, Illinois via Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights Wednesday morning September 27, 2017.
The route is scheduled to begin in McHenry and travel through Arlington Heights along Northwest Highway at approximately 11:00 AM. As the procession passes through Arlington Heights, residents are encouraged to wave to show their support. Residents are to be aware that travel delays along Northwest Highway are expected during the procession.
The display will be positioned at Lake Park, located at Touhy Avenue and Lee Street in Des Plaines until October 1, 2017.
