#ad▼

ComEd crews were working on a cable fault in the area of Miner and Dryden Sunday afternoon and Sunday night, April 30, 2017.

A neighbor report lights flashing on and off at Miner School 1101 East Miner Street in Arlington Heights.

ComEd reported less than five customers were affected due to damaged power lines, and expected restoration to occur by 6:00 a.m. Crews were digging at the southwest corner of Miner Street and Dryden Place about 9:30 p.m.

If the cable fault is not repaired by Monday morning, ComEd expects to establish power to Miner School using a commercial yard generator in time for school hours.
