Stove Fire Extinguished Immediately, Firefighters Work to Clear Smoke Conditions at Hancock Square Apartments , Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:07 PM Wednesday to a report of a fire in a stove in an apartment at 200 North Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, Il. Firefighters received a report of a fire in an oven. Caller updates that the fire is not yet extinguished.

Engine 2’s crew on arrival reported nothing showing from the exterior of the building.

Tower Ladder 1’s crew reported the fire was out by 7:05 p.m.

Crews were clearing smoke conditions on the 10th floor.

No injuries were reported.

Elevators were back in service for residents by about 7:30 p.m., and firefighters started returning by about 7:35 p.m.
