Security Image: Two Men Rob Dunkin’s Donuts on Lewis Ave, Waukegan

Waukegan police responded about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday March March 14, 2017 to a report of an armed robbery at the Dunkin Donuts in the 1800 block of North Lewis Avenue. Upon arrival officers spoke to an employee who confirmed that the business was robbed at gunpoint.
The employee told officers that two male black suspects entered the business and demanded cash. Both suspects are described as being between 5’10” and 6’00, having a thin build, and being masked. Both suspects were wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up inside the business. One of the suspects had a handgun. The suspects were last seen fleeing the business on foot.

The Waukegan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waukegan Police “Tip-Line” at 847-360-9001.

The Waukegan Police Department reported they are not releasing the amount of money taken during the robbery.
