Wheaton police and firefighter/paramedics responded just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday February 4, 2017 in a townhouse in the block of 1300 Woodcutter Lane before 10 p.m. Wheaton police determined Saturday night that the manner of death was homicide,.
Police did not release how the woman was killed, but said they are actively searching for a person of interest in connection with her homicide.
Wheaton police requested the DuPage County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Task Force respond to assist in the investigation.
The woman is believed to have lived in one of four units in the townhouse apartment complex.
