Crash with Injuries on Palatine Rd Bridge Over Milwaukee Ave, Prospect Heights

Prospect Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:12 PM Sunday to a report of crash with injuries at Palatine Road and Milwaukee Avenue Prospect Heights. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a crash with possible entrapment.

Engine 39’s crew on arrival reported crews were working on a patient in cardiac arrest at the crash scene on the Palatine Road bridge over Milwaukee Ave.

Police shutting down eastbound Palatine by 12:17 p.m.

Firefighters confirmed there was no extrication needed. Two people injured — one suffering possible traumatic cardiac arrest.

A9 transporting to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital about 12:32 p.m.
