Des Plaines police responded about 8:17 PM Friday to an armed robbery at 1920 Mannheim Road Des Plaines, IL. Police received a report that a man robbed the Nuevo Mexico grocer.
The offender was described as a male/Hispanic, medium height, heavy set, age 30, mustache, wearing a black knit hat over a gray baseball cap, black jacket, blue jeans, brown work boots.
The offender was armed with a black handgun.
The suspect was last seen westbound on foot.
The crime is reported to have occurred have occurred at 8:17 p.m.
