Macy’s is the world’s second largest consumer of helium. During the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade there will be about 30 balloons this year.
The 90th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade steps off at 77th Street and Central Park West in New York City at 9:00 a.m. EST. The parade proceeds to Columbus Circle, turns left onto Central Park South and then to a new path via 6th Avenue/Avenue of the Americas past 42nd Street and on to 34th Street. The Parade makes its final turn west (right) at 34th Street and ends at 7th Avenue in front of Macy’s Herald Square. Join Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie on NBC for the annual spectacular through the streets of Manhattan.
