Video Shows Amy Schumer Bashing Trump in Tampa and Fans Leaving Show at Amalie Arena

Hundreds of Amy Schumer Fans Walk Out on Stand-Up Show | Lara Spencer reports the buzziest stories of the day in “GMA” Pop News.

About 200 people walked out of Amy Schumer’s comedy show at the Amalie Arena in Tampa Sunday, October 16, 2016 when she mocked Donald Trump.

Loud booing from a minority of the arena crowd started about halfway through the show, when Schumer’s raunchy humor veered into more topical matters, including gun control and the presidential election.

Schumer emphasized she doesn’t understand how people can support Trump. She described — with much of the crowd cheering in approval — Trump as an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake- college-starting monster” after she had requested that a Trump supporter – preferably one with sleeves – to join her up on stage to explain their enthusiasm for Trump. One man stepped up on stage, but he said he was voting for Trump mainly because he doesn’t trust Hillary Clinton. When some audience members booed, Schumer said they could leave and also asked security to remove anyone that was booing.

WFLA News Channel 8 report references Schumer called Tampa horrendous and said people in Tampa can’t read in a recent book she authored.
