#ad▼

Petty Officer Michael Miller explains how it was the first time as a US Coast Guard Petty Officer that he rescued dolphin.

US Coast Guard Petty Officer Michael Miller said it seemed that the dolphin knew the 5-man crew was there to help.

Miller said he’s rescued seals and turtles, but never a dolphin before this rescue at Fort Myers Beach.

The dolphin was found in a dinghy in Back Bay by a boater about 1 AM, Thursday, July 21, 2016, but it was unknown how the dolphin jumped out of the water and ended up in the dinghy that was attached to the boater’s sailboat.
