Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:25 PM Monday to a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, 800 Biesterfield Road Elk Grove Village, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a person was hit near Beisner Road near the west parking lot at Alexian Brothers Medical Center.
A witness saw a red van stopped in the northbound lane of Beisner Road. The patient was apparently transported to the Emergency Department before firefighter/paramedics arrived. Later the patient was transferred to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Firefighters provided extra lighting at the scene from Squad 7. Police were working an extended accident investigation with yellow tape across the parking lot and across Beisner Road.
