Armed Robbery, Unlawful Use of Weapon at Arlington Heights Rd and Boardwalk St, Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove Village police responded about 4:18 PM Friday to a report of unlawful use of a weapon and robbery Arlington Heights Road and Boardwalk Elk Grove Village, IL. Police received a report that a passenger displayed a weapon while sitting in a front passenger seat in a gray 2014 Hyundai.

There were three offenders reported in the 4-door Hyundai.

The offender with the weapon sitting in the front passenger seat was described as a male/Hispanic wearing a gray sweatshirt and also wearing a backpack.

The driver was described as a male/Hispanic wearing a red shirt.

A rear passenger was described as a male/Hispanic wearing a gray sweatshirt.

Taken was cash. Elk Grove Police are investigating. It is unknown if this occurred at a business or on the street.

The crime is reported to have occurred at 4:18 p.m.
