UPDATE … The Cardinal K-9 “Dax” Finds Suspect Wanted for Punching Fox River Grove Police Officer on Traffic Stop US 14 & Opatrny Drive

Fox River Grove police responded 12:08 AM Tuesday to a subject resisting arrest on a traffic stop at Northwest Highway and Opatrny Drive Fox River Grove, IL. Police reported a suspect was at large after committing an aggravated battery to a police officer. The suspect had resisted arrest during a traffic stop of a black Jeep SUV.

Police were looking for an identified suspect at large, who was last seen on foot in the area of Northwest Highway and Opatrny Drive.

The suspect was described as a male/white, age 38, 6’2″ 250 LBS, bald and not wearing a shirt.

The crime is reported to have occurred at 12:08 am.

The agency where the police officer worked was not confirmed.
