Dashcam video of a Belarusian police officer shielding a schoolboy with his own body to avoid a direct hit by a van that approached as they crossed the street.
A Belarusian police officer and a school boy were crossing the street when a van approached and appeared to be heading toward hitting the two pedestrians. The police officer pulled the boy and himself back to the right lane to avoid being hit in the left lane. Unfortunately the van driver veered toward the right lane to avoid hitting the two pedestrians, and hit the two in the right lane. The police officer used his body to shield the boy from direct impact.
