Transformer Explosion, Utility Pole Fire on Tanglewood Dr Near Burr Oak Dr and Highland Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:14 AM Monday to a utility pole fire 206 West Tanglewood Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Firefighter/paramedics received a report that a resident heard two explosions from the transformer on a utility pole. A live wire was down, and the utility pole started on fire.

ComEd was called to the scene to respond before the pole could be extinguished.
