Small Fire in a Condo Unit on South McKinley Ave Near Orchard St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:53 PM Friday to a fire in a condominium unit at 919 South McKinley Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of an activated fire alarm, followed by a report of smoke coming from an unknown unit on the third floor.

The fire was reported to have been extinguished with a fire extinguisher by about 9:59 p.m. before firefighters arrived.

Tower One’s crew reported light smoke showing from the third floor of a 3-story residential building.

Firefighters were working with a fan for ventilation by about 9:55 p.m.

The fire was contained to a closet. Firefighters checked for extension of fire, and found no extension of fire.
