Police were involved in a police pursuit with suspects of the mass shooting at the Inland Regional Center, 1365 South Waterman Avenue San Bernardino, CA about 3:10 p.m. PT.

Police shot out the windows of the black SUV during the pursuit, and an intense amount of gunfire followed in the block of 1700 East San Bernardino Avenue in San Bernardino.

Early police scanner traffic indicates that one suspect was shot and down on the street. One or two bodies were visible in the suspects’ vehicle — a dark SUV.

One police officer was hit by a ricochet bullet. He is reported to be “OK.”

Armoured Police Bearcat vehicles approached the suspect vehicle to inspect the interior of the vehicle. Since inspecting the vehicle, police have released their “ready” positions near the vehicle as apparently the threat was neutralized.

From helicopter cameras, one body could be seen lying in the street with blood pooling on the street, and a weapon was lying nearby.

There was also a report that one suspect fled. That report is either unfounded or the suspect was in custody, or still at large, according to early, unconfirmed reports. At 3:56 p.m. PT it was known that dead on street, one dead in dark SUV (pulled out), and one possibly at large or barricaded in a house that also functions as a church nearby at Richardson Street and Gould Street.
