A highly unusual situation where the media is allowed to peruse the crime scene after authorities released the rental home to the landlord.

CNN Law Enforcement Analyst Harry Houck was baffled that the media were allowed into the apartment, where they could destroy potential evidence. He also saw no sign of any fingerprint dust in the interior of the home.

How were authorities so sure after three days that they had all the evidence they needed out of that rental home?
