Wheeling Police responded about 4:13 p.m. Thursday October 22, 2015 to a disturbance and robbery near the intersection of Anita Place and E. Manchester Drive in Wheeling.
Police were told that Longsworth and two juvenile boys came up to a 17-year-old victim, and asked the victim to declare his gang affiliation, and told him to say gang slogans. Longsworth reached in his own pocket to get a knife, and the victim attempted to run away. Longsworth allegedly threw the victim to the ground, kicked him in his legs, and fled with the victims backpack. The victim ran home and called police
Wheeling police captured the two youths running from the scene, but did not find Longsworth. The youths told police that Longsworth robbed the victim of his backpack. Longsworth was taken into custody and identified in a photo lineup.
Police apprehended Longsworth at 11:24 a.m. on Thursday, November 25, 2020. Christian J. Longsworth, 19, with residences known in Prospect Heights and Waukegan was charged with aggravated robbery, battery, and mob action.
Longsworth was also served an outstanding warrant from southwest suburban Aurora for violation of bail bond connected to a mob action charge. Longsworth was also on probation for a criminal damage to property crime.
