UPDATE 2: Two civilians, one police officer killed in Colorado Springs shooting incident.

Police have captured a suspect accused of opening fire inside a Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic. CNN’s Pamela Brown reports.

Colorado Springs police responded about noon Friday to a report of an active shooter incident in the parking lot of a Planned Parenthood clinic, 3480 Centennial Boulevard. The gunman shot multiple people, including at least one police officer, then barricaded himself inside Planned Parenthood, according to Mike Violette, the executive director for the Colorado Fraternal Order of Police.

There are early reports of at least one person killed, and four police officers wounded. The suspect was described as wearing a long coat and a hunting-style hat. The suspect may have a long rifle capable shooting over 600 yards.

Colorado Springs Police Department reported the scene is not secure. A possible barricade situation is developing. Several ambulances have staged in the area.

An employee from a grocery store down the street from a Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs says police told everyone to stay inside due to an active shooter nearby.

On October 31, 2015 three people and the shooter were killed after the shooter shot four people and was then shot and killed by police. One of the victims was a man on a bicycle. The suspect shot four people in downtown Colorado Springs about 8:45 a.m. and fled. The suspect was located by police about one-half mile from North Prospect Street where the multiple shootings occurred. The suspect fired several rounds at officers and police returned fire, and killed the suspect. Police did not release the suspect’s name. On November 4, 2015, Colorado Springs Police Department released the names of the victims, and the names of the police officers involved in the exchange of gunfire with the suspect, but did not release the name of the dead shooter. On November 2, 2015 police also released the names of the three homicide victims, but not the dead suspect.
