Glen Ellyn police responded about 10:08 PM Wednesday to an armed robbery that just occurred at Roosevelt Road and Nicoll Way Glen Ellyn, IL. Police reported to area departments that two men committed an armed robbery, but did not give a specific location.
There is a Chase Bank and a US Bank near the scene — presumably a robbery related to an ATM, but not confirmed.
The offenders are described as two male/black subjects — both with tall and thin builds and wearing dark clothing.
A handgun was implied, but not displayed.
The offenders were last seen westbound on Taft Avenue. The scene is about 3,715 feet west of the nearest I-355 onramp.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 10:08 p.m.
