Power Outage, Lines Down on Euclid Ave Between Waterman Ave and Rand Rd, Arlington Heights — Memory Garden Service Affected

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:52 PM Friday to a power line down and a crash near 2500 East Euclid Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a power line was down and causing a fire near the entrance to Memory Gardens on east Euclid Avenue.

Because of the downed power line across the entrance to the cemetery, people were not able to reach a service scheduled Friday afternoon.

Traffic delays and detours are possible.

Traffic was shut down on westbound on Euclid Avenue at Rand Road.

Police also reported a crash on westbound Euclid Avenue near the entrance to Memory Gardens Cemetery. Three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Euclid Avenue may be blocked in both directions at times Friday afternoon.
