Arlington Heights Continues Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Safety Campaign, June 22 – July 5

As part of the Independence Day “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” holiday enforcement campaign, which runs from June 22 – July 5, 2015, the Arlington Heights Police Department will be conducting a Roadside Safety Checkpoint on Arlington Heights Road near Algonquin Road on June 26, 2015.

Officers working the campaign will be attempting to identify and cite motorists who choose to drive without using their safety belts, are driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or are committing other traffic-related offenses.

The campaign will be funded with federal traffic safety funds, which are administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation – Division of Transportation Safety.
