Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:01 PM Thursday of an attempted vehicle burglary at the Jewel-Osco parking lot, 1860 South Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders attempted to burglarize the victim’s silver 2004 Oldsmobile Alero by damaging the trunk lock, while the vehicle was parked in the lot. No entry was made to the trunk/vehicle.
The cost to repair the damage was unknown at the time of the police report.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday, June 25, 2015 between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 3:00 (hours: minutes).
