Kick off the summer with a weekend of community and creativity when the Promenade of Art returns to the heart of Arlington Heights this June. About 125 juried artists hailing from across the country will showcase and sell original work within a variety of categories including paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and sculpture. Live art demonstrations will give festival-goers the unique opportunity to see the masters at work. The Promenade of Art will also feature delicious dishes and drinks from nearby restaurants.

The 13th annual Promenade of Art returns June 6th and 7th from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., along Vail and Campbell streets in downtown Arlington Heights — free and open to the public.

Celebrating its thirteenth year, the Promenade of Art Arlington Heights at Vail Avenue and Campbell Street is a longstanding tradition for residents of this prosperous northwest Chicago suburb of 75,000 residents and nearby communities. The festival takes place in the lively downtown area amid upscale high-rise apartments, boutiques, cafes, theaters and popular restaurants.

Neighboring restaurants also will have a presence, including Circa 57, Day Go Dogs and Za, and Tuscan Market, known for its American/Italian delicatessen and wine bar.

The Promenade of Art will showcase the work of more than 125 juried artists from across the country in a variety of mediums, including paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and sculpture. In addition to the incredible artwork available for purchase, attendees will be able to interact with artists through demonstrations and booth chats. Kid-friendly activities will be found throughout the festival, including art fest bingo and a freestanding graffiti wall that is certain to evoke a splash of creativity from all who participate.

HIGHLIGHTS: Incredible artwork, live music, and great food from neighboring restaurants add to the experience of this FREE outdoor festival. Fun art activities for kids make Promenade of Art Arlington Heights a destination for art enthusiasts of all ages!

Many artists have been discovered at the Arlington Heights Promenade of Art by those looking for large art installations at business locations. Many artists have progressed to create special commissions for these clients, according to Amdur Productions. Traditional themes are also present at the art show.
