VIDEO SURVEILLANCE IMAGE: Suspect Wanted for $700 Theft of Gucci Glasses from Martin Optical

Arlington Heights police released today a photo from a surveillance video that showed a male/black suspect accused of stealing $700.00 worth of Gucci glasses, after intentionally knocking over a display and then concealing the Gucci glasses in a bag. The crime occurred Monday, May 4, 2015.

Arlington Heights police had received a report of a retail theft at Martin Optical, 1046 South Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an offender removed two pairs of Gucci sunglasses valued at $350 each from the store. Video surveillance revealed the suspect and the crime.

The offender is described as a black male, 40 years-old, 5’08” tall, 170 LBS, wearing a white and blue striped shirt and carrying a plastic bag. The suspect identified himself as “Tony Jackson.”

The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, May 4, 2015 between 5:35 PM and 5:45 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 00:10 (hours: minutes).
