Man Arrested After Stealing Apple iPad from Busy, Large Chicago Fire Station Just West of Magnificent Mile

Antoine Jones, age 25, was charged with theft of an object worth more than $500, after he allegedly stole an Apple iPad from a Chicago Fire Department fire station at 55 W. Illinois Street.

The theft is reported to have occurred at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015.

Jones was arrested by Near North District officers, and a Cook County judge ordered him held in lieu of $25,000 bail Wednesday.
