Qantas Retires Oldest Aircraft in Fleet, the “City of Canberra” 747-400, to Wollongong Aviation Museum

Here are several videos of the last landing of VH-OJA – the first Qantas 747-400 “Longreach” series. QF7474 arrived at Illawarra Regional Airport near Wollongong at 7:47 a.m. on March 8 2015 to become a major tourist attraction at the HARS museum, and ending its 25-year passenger service.

The first 747-400 “Longreach” series Boeing 747 delivered to Qantas has been retired in Wollongong. The aircraft landed at 07:47 am on March 8 2015 and will now reside at the Hars museum at the airport. Included is video of the landing as well as footage from previous trips in VH-OJA.
