Driver Crashes Car into Tree on South Highland Ave Near Heritage Park and Drives to Arlington Hts Rd and Sigwalt St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:21 AM Sunday to a crashed car at Arlington Heights Road and Sigwalt Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics responded to a crashed car on Arlington Heights Road just north of Sigwalt Street.

The vehicle had significant damage along the driver’s side, roof, and rear windshield and was stopped in the right lane of northbound Arlington Heights Road.

The crash is under investigation by Arlington Heights Police Department. It is currently unknown if a resident or passer-by reported the car crashed or if police discovered the car crashed.

Police have alternate ways to transmit tactical, operational or investigative information, while still keeping their main public dispatch channels open for the best balance of public safety and police safety.
