Car Fire on Westbound Algonquin Road Near Cooper’s Hawk Restaurant, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:53 PM Friday to a report of a car fire at Algonquin Road and Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a fire was burning under a car in the westbound lanes of Algonquin Road east of Higgins Road. Arlington Heights Engine 3, Squad 1, and Battalion 1 were dispatched, but BC1 was diverted to an odor investigation at another address.

Rolling Meadows Battalion Chief 15, Ambulance 15 and Engine 15 were also dispatched to the same call.

Engine 3’s crew on arrival reported a fully-involved car fire, and returned the Rolling Meadows response.

No known injuries reported at the car fire.
