Dryer Fire in Basement of Apartment Building on East Circle Hill Drive, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:26 PM Thursday to a report of smoke in the basement of an apartment building in the block of 400 East Circle Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of smoke in an apartment building.

Interior firefighters reported a fire in a dryer in the basement, with the fire out by 1:34 p.m.

Firefighters were working on ventilation by 1:35 p.m.

Fire command reported “fire out” at 1:36 p.m. and requested a salt truck for icing on the streets.

Buffalo Grove’s crew from Tower Ladder 25 assisted Arlington Heights firefighters.

Firefighters responded to the same neighborhood of apartments on January 1, 2015 about 4:48 p.m. for a dryer fire.
