Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:23 PM Sunday to a report of a rollover crash at Galleon Lane and Cardinal Lane Elk Grove Village, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a person was inside a vehicle on its side and still running.

A few minutes later, it wasn’t only the vehicle that was running. Witness reported that the driver fled the scene. Witness reported the driver ran down the block, and possibly appeared intoxicated.
Police and firefighter/paramedics — as of 9:20 p.m. Sunday — did not find the driver while they searched the neighborhood.
