Pedestrian Trapped and Killed Under Dump Truck Wheels in Front of Binny’s at Market Place Shopping Center, Golf and Elmhurst, Des Plaines

Des Plaines police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:11 PM Thursday to a report of a person pinned under a vehicle in front of Binny’s Beverage Depot, 767 West Golf Road Des Plaines, IL. The first fire department official on the scene reported a person pinned under the rear double wheels of a heavy dump truck on the passenger side. Injuries were reported to be obviously fatal at the scene.

Firefighter/paramedics and police blocked off the scene and put up blue tarps to block off the scene. An accident investigation was ongoing Thursday afternoon.
