Derby was born with deformed front legs and was unable to walk. Now with prosthetic legs built with 3D printing technology, Derby is able to run and sprint with mobility.

With 3D printing it is easy to make iterations of the design of the prosthetic legs. The designers started with lower, shorter legs to give Derby the chance to get accustomed to the new biomechanics of walking, running and sprinting.
