VIDEO: Apparent Meteor Sighted in Texas; Image Captured at Fun Fest in Austin, Texas

Jamey Maki, an audience member of the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas captures video of a falling meteor.

Police near Austin, Texas received multiple reports of a fireball in the sky after 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Some reported the ground shaking.

A dash-cam video of a video was also published by a person who was driving in San Antonio at about 8:43 p.m. (NO AUDIO/Clock on camera was not adjusted for the recent end of Daylight Savings Time).

The official Twitter account for the National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio reports the shaking may have been from a sonic boom from the meteorite.
