Kitchen Fire in a House on North Ridge Ave Near Chestnut Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:28 PM Saturday to a fire in a kitchen 2519 North Ridge Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that an appliance was on fire in the kitchen. Police arrived first and reported smoke in the house.

Engine 4 firefighters pulled a line through the front door and crews upgraded to a working fire response at about 2:33 p.m.

Fire was reported “knocked” at about 2:39 p.m. and crews started overhaul of the interior.

Buffalo Grove firefighters assisted Arlington Heights firefighters.

Prospect Heights Squad 9 responded for standby at Arlington Heights Fire Station 2.
