Witness Reports Man Striking a Passenger Who Was Trying to Escape a Chevy Suburban at Algonquin Rd and Golf Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 10:51 AM Wednesday to a report of a battery and unlawful restrain in the area of Algonquin Road and Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a witness saw a male/Hispanic with a heavy build striking a passenger in the front seat while the passenger was trying to get out of the vehicle.

The vehicle was described as a light colored Chevy suburban that was last seen eastbound on Golf Road. The license plate began with SB.

No description of the victim was available.

The crime is reported to have occurred about 10:50 a.m.
