Suspicious Male Adult Reported to Have Followed Student Home Near Thomas Middle School, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights Police Alert: Suspicious Incident Near Thomas Middle School, 1430 North Belmont Avenue Arlington Heights, IL

Arlington Heights Police received a report that an unknown male subject followed a female juvenile student to her residence from Thomas Middle School — described by police as a few blocks away from her residence. The subject was also observed by the juvenile’s parent. The subject is described as a white male in his 40s, 6 foot tall, thin build, with dark reddish brown curly hair, and wearing a green overcoat with blue jeans. The male subject may also have been driving a blue car, no further description.

The suspicious incident is reported to have occurred on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 between 2:45 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Arlington Heights police did not report whether the incident occurred north, south, east or west of the school.
