Standing Water, Flooding Reported in Arlington Heights and Northwest Suburbs

Standing water is being reported in many area and highways. Flooding has been reported near Arlington Heights Road and Appletree Lane and near the shopping center entrance behind Burlington Coat Factory. Flooding was also reported on Arlington Heights Road north of Hintz Road.

No flood advisories, watches or warnings exist for the northwest suburbs. Some of the flooding may be caused by leaves and debris in catch basins. Less than a half inch of rain is forecast from 9:00 p.m. Tuesday to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
