Illinois State Police and Schaumburg firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:30 PM Wednesday to a report of crash with injuries at 42.027938,-88.031308 (SB Route 53/I-290 south of Higgins Rd Schaumburg, IL). Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that of a car in the ditch off of I-290 near Higgins Road.
One patient transported and three medical refusals were reported.
Elk Grove Village firefighter/paramedics were also on the scene.
